Lansohet platforma 'Edukimi i Hershem në Distancë

Save the Children në Kosovë së bashku me MASHTI dhe Unicef organizuan një konferencë për media ku dhe lansuan zyrtarisht platformën 'Edukimi i Hershëm në Distancë' i cili do ti jep mundesine të gjithe femijeve 3-6 që të përfitojnë nga aktivitetet ne menyre elektronike nga shtëpia. Kjo platformë u mundësua nga Save the Children në bashkëpunim me Unicef, Open Data Kosovo dhe Ministrinë e Edukimit, Shences, Teknologjisë dhe Inovacionit-MASHTI. Save the Children in Kosovo and Handikos give away 6 new wheelchairs for children in Gjakova

Community Based Services for Children with Disabilities Project is Save the Children’s regional initiative in Eurasia, simultaneously implemented in Albania, Armenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina (North-West Balkans), Georgia and Kosovo. Financially supported by Margaret A. Cargill Philanthropist, this project aims to support children with disabilities empowering them to develop abilities, practice independence and enjoy inclusion. It also strengthens families and mobilizes communities to endorse quality services for children with disabilities.

UK National Portage Association carried out Portage Training with SCiK partner organizations

During October 23-27, the UK National Portage Association carried out Portage Training for 38 participants from three SCiK partner organizations working directly with children with special needs. Portage is primarily a home visiting educational service for pre-school/Kindergarten children and their families that need additional support. An important aspect of this training is to ensure that children that need additional support and their families succeed in achieving their goals.
