This Thursday marked a significant milestone for the community of Vaganice, Municipality of Mitrovica, as Save the Children Kosova/o, in partnership with the municipal directorate of education, health, and social welfare, celebrated the opening of a new Community-based Early Childhood Care and Development (ECCD) center. Located at the "Skënderbeu" Primary and Lower Secondary School, this center is tailored to cater to the developmental needs of children aged 3 to 5 years old, adding to the municipality's network of ECCD facilities.

The Inauguration Event:

The inauguration event was attended by key figures, including the school's director and staff, as well as Ms. Drita Kadriu, the Municipal Director of Education at the Municipality of Mitrovica. Ms. Kadriu underscored the significance of such centers in fostering early childhood education and unlocking children's potential, highlighting the importance of investing in the holistic development of young learners.
