Early education plays a pivotal role in shaping the future of our children. It instills in them a sense of independence and self-confidence, equipping them with the tools they need to overcome obstacles and pursue their dreams. Recognizing the importance of this foundation, Save the Children Kosova/o, in collaboration with the municipal directorate of education, health, and social welfare in Ferizaj, proudly celebrated the inauguration of the Community-based Early Childhood Care and Development (ECCD) center at the "Ali Hadri" Primary and Lower Secondary School in Mirash, Municipality of Ferizaj.

The newly established ECCD center is tailored to cater to the needs of children aged 3-5 years, marking a significant milestone as the fourth ECCD center within the municipality. This initiative underscores our commitment to providing accessible and high-quality early childhood education to every child, regardless of their background or circumstances.

The inauguration ceremony witnessed the presence of esteemed guests, including the school's director, staff members, and representatives from the Municipal Directorate of Education in the Municipality of Ferizaj. Together, they emphasized the pivotal role that ECCD centers play in nurturing young minds and empowering children to unlock their full potential.

Through interactive and engaging learning experiences, children enrolled in the ECCD center will embark on a journey of discovery, exploration, and growth. From building foundational literacy and numeracy skills to fostering creativity and critical thinking, every aspect of the curriculum is designed to cultivate holistic development and prepare children for future success.
