In a concerted effort to create positive change within the Roma, Ashkali, and Egyptian communities, a series of impactful information sessions have been organized at the local level. These sessions have brought together educators, community mobilizers, and parents/caregivers to integrate essential principles of child protection, well-being, gender equality, and disability into their daily lives and parenting practices.

A Holistic Approach to Community Empowerment

The primary goal of these sessions was to inform and sensitize key stakeholders within the Roma, Ashkali, and Egyptian communities about the critical importance of child protection, well-being, gender equality, and disability principles. By engaging educators, community mobilizers, and parents/caregivers, the initiative seeks to create a comprehensive understanding of how these principles can positively impact the lives of children and families.

Raising Awareness Across 8 Municipalities

This groundbreaking initiative spanned across eight municipalities, namely Prishtina, Mitrovica, Gjilan, Ferizaj, Klina, Peja, Gjakova, and Prizren. By disseminating information at the local level, the program aims to bridge the gap between theoretical principles and practical application, fostering a culture of awareness and understanding within these communities.

Child Protection and Well-being

The core focus of these sessions revolved around child protection and well-being. Participants are equipped with knowledge and tools to identify, prevent, and address potential risks and threats to children within their communities.
