Kick Off Meeting with ADA partners

Save the Children Kosova/o recently convened a Kick-Off meeting in collaboration with partners from the Project “Empowerment of Kosovo vulnerable communities through better and equal access to the labour market” funded by the Austrian Development Agency (ADA) with funds of Austrian Development Cooperation.

The meeting served as a platform for our partner organizations to familiarize themselves with the fundamental procedures and guidelines established by Save the Children and ADA. These guidelines are of crucial importance and must be strictly adhered to throughout the entire implementation of the program. They encompass critical aspects such as Child Safeguarding, Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning (MEAL), Communication and Visibility, Donor Requirements, Financial Management, Prevention of Fraud, Bribery & Corruption, and Procurement.

The primary objective of this program is to empower girls and boys hailing from Roma, Ashkali, and Egyptian communities. The aim is to equip them with the requisite knowledge, capacity, skills, and opportunities to smoothly transition into adulthood and secure dignified, decent, and sustainable employment. Furthermore, the overarching goal of the program is to enhance access to and retention in quality secondary education, offer vocational and life skills training, and advocate for equal opportunities for dignified and sustainable work.
