Save the Children Kosova/o inaugurates the Community-based ECCD centre in Molliq

Save the Children Kosova/o, in partnership with the municipal directorate of education, health, and social welfare in Gjakova, celebrated the opening of the ECCD (Early Childhood Care and Development) community-based centre catering to children aged 3-5 years. Situated within the primary and lower secondary school "Jahë Salihu" in Molliq, Municipality of Gjakova, the inauguration event brought together key stakeholders.

Attendees included the director and staff of Jahë Salihu's school, Mr. Alex Brans, Save the Children Switzerland Global Programmes Director, Mr. Ahmet Kryeziu, Executive Director of Save the Children Kosova/o, and Mr. Ardian Gjini, the Mayor of Gjakova. Their presence underscored the significance of ECCD centers in fostering early childhood education and nurturing children's potential.

The ECCD centre signifies a significant step forward for the community of Molliq, offering a supportive environment for children aged 3-5 years to grow and develop fundamental skills essential for their future. Through collaborative efforts with the municipality of Gjakova, Save the Children Kosova/o aims to deliver integrated ECCD services, enriching the lives of children and families in the region.
