Save the Children Kosova/o opens the Community-based ECCD centre in Demjan 2
Save the Children Kosova/o in cooperation with the municipal directorate of education, health and social welfare in Gjakova marked the opening of the ECCD (Early Childhood Care and Development) community-based centre for children aged 3-5 years in the primary and lower secondary school "Pjetër Bogdani" in Demjan 2, Municipality of Gjakova, thus becoming the fourth ECCD centre established in this municipality.
In addition to the director and staff of Pjetër Bogdani's school, the Mayor of Gjakova Mr. Ardian Gjini also participated in the inauguration, who emphasized the importance of these centers for the development of early childhood education and the achievement of children's potential.
We are grateful to the cooperation and partnership with the municipality of Gjakova for the provision of quality and integrated ECCD services in the community of Demjan 2.
