SCiK welcomes Mr. Khalid Ali to Explore Localized Initiatives and Partnerships
Save the Children Kosova/o recently had the privilege of hosting Mr. Khalid Ali, Regional Head of Civil Society and Partnerships at Save the Children International.
The purpose of his visit was to shine a spotlight on Save the Children Kosovo's localization initiative. This initiative aims to enhance locally-led efforts, tackle challenges head-on, explore opportunities for growth, and ultimately strengthen equitable partnerships that will further the sustainable development of child rights organizations in Kosovo.
During his visit, Mr. Khalid had the pleasure of meeting with the Civil Society Organization (CSO) partners participating in the Civil Society Strengthening Programme, namely Handikos and the Kosovo Gender Studies Centre. These meetings provided a valuable platform for discussions surrounding the Programme's implementation. They also provided crucial insights into the perspectives and challenges faced in fostering partnerships, as well as celebrating the remarkable achievements of our partners in empowering children with disabilities, young girls, and their respective communities.
At Save the Children Kosova/o, we are committed to working hand in hand with local partners and stakeholders to create a brighter future for children in Kosovo. We are delighted to have had Mr. Khalid Ali join us on this journey, reaffirming our dedication to child rights and sustainable development.
