Save the Children Kosova/o hosts representative from Medicor Foundation

Save the Children Kosova/o recently hosted Sara Bachmman, a representative from the Medicor Foundation, for a field visit to the SCiK (Save the Children in Kosova/o) programme sites. During her visit, Ms. Bachmman had the unique opportunity to witness the impact of the collaborative efforts firsthand and engage with the targeted educational institutions within the Ferizaj region.

One of the highlights of Ms. Bachmman's visit was her experience at the community-based Early Childhood Care and Development (ECCD) center in the villages of Nerodime and Komogllave. As she explored the center, she witnessed the dedicated work of Save the Children Kosova/o in the field of ECCD and gained valuable insights into the importance of these services for the future of children.

The ECCD center in Nerodime and Komogllave serves as a safe and stimulating space where young children can learn, grow, and thrive. The center embraces a holistic approach to education, recognizing that early experiences profoundly impact a child's cognitive, emotional, and social development. Through a blend of structured learning activities, play-based initiatives, and access to age-appropriate learning materials, the center creates an environment that nurtures children's natural curiosity, encourages their creativity, and enhances their social skills.
